Level 7 Swim Lessons Age 6 & up

Prerequisite: Level 6

In Level 7, participants continue refining all strokes—front crawl, back crawl, elementary backstroke, breaststroke and sidestroke—with an emphasis on swimming them more efficiently and powerfully over longer distances. Training becomes more structured and fitness-focused, often including: workouts to build endurance and speed, turns to improve efficiency at the wall and the use of training tools like pace clocks, pull buoys and fins. The butterfly stroke is introduced at this level. Level 7 serves as a transition into more advanced and competitive swimming, helping participants build endurance, technique and training habits used in swim teams.

Goggles are highly recommended.
