Water Safety Aide Age 12 & up

The best Water Safety Instructors (WSI) often begin as Water Safety Aides (WSA). This course is designed for teens who have successfully completed Level 6 and are interested in working at an aquatic facility as a WSA, with the potential to later earn certification as a WSI.

Students will gain hands-on experience by practice-teaching alongside a certified WSI, learning how to lead a swimming lesson from start to finish. During the course, WSA participants will assist with and practice-teach beginner-level classes, including Turtles, Bobbers, Little Swimmers and Levels 1–3.
