Skating Lessons Tots 4 Ages 3-5

Prerequisite, passed Tots 3.

Tots (Ages 3-5) will focus on learning to skate, falling down, getting up, standing and marching independently. Pre-Alpha (Age 6+) will focus on forward and backward swizzles, one and two-foot glides, backward wiggles as well as the Tots focus. Participants must be registered by their current age. If you have not participated in Community Education’s Skating Lessons in the past, you must register for Tots or Pre-Alpha. Skaters are evaluated regularly and when the Skating Director feels a skater has mastered all of the skills in their level, they will be moved up to the next level/class. Skaters must officially test out of each level and demonstrate skills in accordance with ISI national testing standards. Our skater to coach ratio is 12 to one per class.
