Cooking with kids can be a fabulous way to spend time together and provides lifelong skills like hand washing, measuring and following directions. There will be two simple recipes for families to create together and other opportunities for fun.

Is your child eager to dive into the world of preschool? Our ECFE Friends class offers the perfect stepping stone! We start the fall season together on Tuesdays, where parents and children explore, grow, and learn side-by-side. Beginning in January, your child will take their next big step into independent preschool learning—parents will attend on Tuesdays, while children attend on their own on Thursdays. This gradual transition gives your little one the chance to build confidence and embrace their growing independence in a safe, supportive environment. Children must be three years old by Jan 1, 2027.

This evidence-based program establishes a positive partnership between home and school, supporting families through the critical early years of development. Love and Logic is the philosophy of raising and teaching children which allows adults to be happier, more empowered and better prepared for interactions with children. Love allows children to grow through their mistakes. Logic allows children to live with the consequences of their choices. Step into the boots of a space explorer for an evening of discovery and high-flying fun! Preschoolers will have a fun hour discovering how astronauts travel to the stars through imaginative play and STEM activities. We’ll have a blast launching the stomp rockets and making a straw rocket to bring home.

Things are getting wild at ECFE. Sustainable Safari is located at Maplewood Mall but will be visiting the Education Center for one special night. Meet 5-6 amazing animals and learn about their history, where they live and what they like to eat.

This dynamic class offers a fun, hands-on opportunity for children to engage with their peers in a classroom setting, while parents enjoy dedicated Parent Education time. Little ones will dive into sensory-rich activities, get their hands messy and develop problem-solving skills.
