Level 2 Swim Lessons Age 6 & upAquatics: Learn to Swim Levels 1-7 - Age 6 & upPrerequisite: Level 1 or float on front and back unsupported for 10 seconds and front kick 10 yards unsupported. Level 2 objectives focus on improving swimming skills and increasing confidence in deeper water. Participants further develop arm and leg movements on both the front and back, while beginning basic deep-water swimming skills.Fall 2026 -
Level 3 Swim Lessons Age 6 & upAquatics: Learn to Swim Levels 1-7 - Age 6 & upPrerequisite: Level 2 or be able to jump into the deep end, swim beginner stroke 10 yards, turn over and swim on back for 10 yards Level 3 objectives focus on advancing swimming ability through more coordinated stroke development and water skills. Participants build on previously learned skills by learning the front crawl, back crawl and elementary backstroke kick, while also practicing treading water and basic diving techniques.Fall 2026 -
Level 4 Swim Lessons Age 6 & upAquatics: Learn to Swim Levels 1-7 - Age 6 & upPrerequisite: Level 3 or be able to swim a front crawl in good form with rotary breathing for 15 yards Level 4 objectives focus on strengthening stroke technique and building endurance. Participants improve their front crawl and back crawl skills by swimming greater distances and they learn the complete elementary backstroke. Goggles are highly recommended.Fall 2026 -
Level 5 Swim Lessons Age 6 & upAquatics: Learn to Swim Levels 1-7 - Age 6 & upPrerequisite: Level 4 The objectives of Level 5 are coordination and refinement of front and back crawl and elementary backstroke. Level 5 Swim Lessons Age 6 & upAquatics: Learn to Swim Levels 1-7 - Age 6 & upPrerequisite: Level 4 In Level 5, participants focus on improving coordination and technique in the front crawl, back crawl and elementary backstroke, making their strokes smoother and more efficient. The full breaststroke is introduced and taught in detail. In addition to stroke development, participants also learn important water skills such as: surface dives, underwater swimming and turns. Level 5 is about refining existing skills and building confidence with more advanced stroke mechanics and aquatic abilities. Goggles are highly recommended.Fall 2026 -
Level 6 Swim Lessons Age 6 & upAquatics: Learn to Swim Levels 1-7 - Age 6 & upPrerequisite: Level 5 In Level 6, participants work on refining their technique in the front crawl, back crawl, elementary backstroke and breaststroke, focusing on making each stroke smoother, more efficient and more powerful. A new stroke, the sidestroke, is also introduced at this level. Along with stroke development, participants practice more advanced water safety and endurance skills, including: surface dives, retrieving a brick from a depth of nine feet and treading water. Level 6 emphasizes strong, efficient swimming and practical survival skills in deeper water. Goggles are highly recommended.Fall 2026 -
Level 7 Swim Lessons Age 6 & upAquatics: Learn to Swim Levels 1-7 - Age 6 & upPrerequisite: Level 6 In Level 7, participants continue refining all strokes—front crawl, back crawl, elementary backstroke, breaststroke and sidestroke—with an emphasis on swimming them more efficiently and powerfully over longer distances. Training becomes more structured and fitness-focused, often including: workouts to build endurance and speed, turns to improve efficiency at the wall and the use of training tools like pace clocks, pull buoys and fins. The butterfly stroke is introduced at this level. Level 7 serves as a transition into more advanced and competitive swimming, helping participants build endurance, technique and training habits used in swim teams. Goggles are highly recommended.Fall 2026
