Learning Spanish enables you to communicate with Spanish speakers in your community, at work or in your travels. Beginners can explore both the language and culture. We'll cover pronunciation, vocabulary, reading comprehension and grammar. Please have the textbook “Practice Makes Perfect Basic Spanish” Premium Third Edition by Dorothy Richmond on the first day of class. This two-mile guided nature walk will allow you to experience habitats found within the three biomes of our state. A Minnesota Master Naturalist will guide you through a tamarack bog, oak woodland and restored prairie and describe the plant communities, creatures and ecological processes present. You will set up a trail camera and learn how to age trees. Stop to rest, listen and look for birds as well as other animals living in this forest. Wear sturdy walking shoes and bring water, snacks and binoculars, if you have them. Please park at the lot on the north end of the forest: 6256 227th Ave NE, Stacy. Look for this sign:

Build your own longbow with hard maple riser and bamboo core fiberglass limbs. The finished product will be a professional quality bow for target archery or hunting. Most tools will be provided, but you will need an orbital hand sander, sanding blocks and sanding sheets to complete some work at home.
