Starting SoonHorse Camp Ages 6-14Athletics & RecreationThis introduction to horses covers care, grooming, riding, and much more using Spark Equestrian’s curriculum. Working in pairs, students will interact with a horse while practicing grooming, halter leading, handling the reins and basic commands - skills traditionally taught in a first riding lesson. Additional activities include crafts, games and making treats for the horses. Students should wear long pants, closed-toed shoes and layers for inside and outside activities. Let's Go FishingLINK - Adults With DisabilitiesCommunity Education is now partnering with Lets Go Fishing Forest Lake. They are a non-profit organization that offers fishing trips or pontoon rides on Forest Lake for groups like LINK. Right now, we are thinking of splitting the two hour trip into two groups and each group will spend time on the boat and time on the shore doing an activity. In the registration, you will be asked if you are interested in fishing on the trip, and if you currently have a fishing license. This will be a fun and relaxing evening with our LINK friends! This will be achieved through workouts, turns, use of pace clocks, pull buoys and fins. The butterfly will be introduced. This is a great introduction to competitive swimming. Lino Lakes Age 3 Half DayLittle Rangers Preschool Half DayHalf Day Preschool:Half Day Preschool is offered at six locations throughout the district for three, four and five-year-old children. Half Day Preschool is a School Readiness program that is funded by various sources: parent fees, state aid and levy funding. Little Rangers Preschools is a program for students to explore and learn through play-based curriculum and social-emotional teaching. Registration Details: Once you complete the online registration in Eleyo you will be put on a "pending approval status" in the order the registration is received until Early Childhood Programs staff can review it, and enough registrations are received to run the class.
