Full Day Preschool: Full Day Preschool is offered at seven elementary locations throughout the district for four and five-year-old children. Since the Full Day program does not receive any state funding, the program relies on parent fees to offer high-quality programming for our students. Little Rangers Preschools is a program for students to explore and learn through play-based curriculum and social-emotional teaching. Registration Details: Once you complete the online registration in Eleyo you will be put on a "pending approval status" in the order the registration is received until Early Childhood Programs staff can review it, and enough registrations are received to run the class. Your credit card will not be charged for the registration fee until your child is confirmed in the program. Once you are approved, you will receive an email confirmation and your credit card will be charged. Registrations are accepted for the School Year beginning at the end of March, early April. Following your accepted contract, you will receive an email to set up a ParentVue account, where you will complete the registrations process, including attaching required forms. Welcome to Early Childhood Family Education (ECFE) If you are new to the area or to the world of young children, you will find many opportunities to meet other parents and engage with your children in age appropriate activities. We serve families with young children from birth to their first day of kindergarten. Opportunities range from one time events to Early Childhood Family Education (ECFE) parent/child classes that meet every week through out the school year. We know that being a parent is a huge job and our staff is here to offer you information, support and resources as you make choices for your family. Development and learning in the first years of a child’s life are key factors for success in school and beyond. You will also get ideas for things you can do together at home. 2: Family TimeFamilies participate in a discussion led by a licensed parent educator, exploring topics such as child development, discipline, family interaction and other areas of interest. 3: Children’s TimeWhile family members are in the discussion group lead by a parent educator in another room, children are learning through activities designed by a licensed Early Childhood teacher to help them grow and develop their social, emotion, cognitive, physical and communication skills.
