This two-mile guided nature walk will allow you to experience habitats found within the three biomes of our state. A Minnesota Master Naturalist will guide you through a tamarack bog, oak woodland and restored prairie and describe the plant communities, creatures and ecological processes present. You will set up a trail camera and learn how to age trees. Stop to rest, listen and look for birds as well as other animals living in this forest. Wear sturdy walking shoes and bring water, snacks and binoculars, if you have them. Please park at the lot on the north end of the forest: 6256 227th Ave NE, Stacy. Look for this sign:

Step into the boots of a space explorer for an evening of discovery and high-flying fun! Preschoolers will have a fun hour discovering how astronauts travel to the stars through imaginative play and STEM activities. We’ll have a blast launching the stomp rockets and making a straw rocket to bring home.

We are going to do some moving and grooving together! We’ll start with some walking, stretching and warm up Yoga and then moving on to Cardio Drumming! CE Instructors Suzanne McCardle (Yoga) and Shelly Berry (Cardio Drumming) will lead us through some good for us movement and exercise! Drumsticks will be provided. Connect with your creative side and join us for our no-experience-required art class. Jeremy Ross from Your Bearded Artist, will guide you through pouring acrylic on 8x10” canvas.
