Driver's Education Age 14-Adult
This class listing is informational only. Please register on the A+ Driving School website at www.APlusDrivingSchool.net This 30-hour program will be conducted by a certified instructor from A+ Driving School and will fulfill the state driver’s education requirement. The course will address the “how to” and “whys” of safe driving. In person, fully online and Zoom teleconference learning options are available. After completion of the program, students will be able to set up and participate in behind the wheel sessions to meet the six hour state requirement. All fees are payable to A+ Driving School. -
Disc Golf Club Grades 6-12
Players will compete in a friendly league format each week while practicing course etiquette, sportsmanship and scoring. You’ll also have the opportunity to compete in in-house tournaments at local courses. Players will be organized by skill level to ensure everyone has an opportunity for success. Accumulate points throughout the season for the opportunity to win prizes. Bring a bottle of water and discs. (Discs will be available to use for those who need them.) -

Ice Skating Lessons
We are excited to announce that Hannah Fowler has stepped into the role of Skating Supervisor! As we continue rebuilding our skating program, we are seeking a qualified ISI Skating Supervisor and assistant coaches to help assess and advance skaters. This is needed to continue the section for fall. Our goal is to restore and grow the program while providing a positive skating experience for participants of all ages. ACT Prep - 6 Hour Grades 10-12
A strong ACT score continues to be important for college admissions and financial aid. In this class, Renee Holmquist, outstanding FLAHS teacher, will cover the test format, essential strategies and content review. Students will complete practice ACT questions from each section of the ACT during the class. -
Middle School Boys Soccer Entering Grades 6-8

All practices and games take place at Forest Lake Area Middle School (FLAMS). This program is designed as a recreational course centered on skill development and in-house competition. Organized games will include referees, with teams competing against one another on campus rather than traveling to other schools. Please note: Registration ends September 1st at 11:59pm. Ranger Aquatics Ages 8-18
Prerequisite: Participants must be able to swim 25 continuous yards of front and back crawl or passed Level 4. This swimming program is designed to help athletes of all levels—both novice and advanced—develop efficient and fast swimming skills. In addition to performance training, the coaching staff promotes overall physical fitness, motivation, self-discipline, self-esteem and self-confidence. The program provides a supportive and challenging environment where athletes are encouraged to reach their highest potential while enjoying the sport. Workouts are adapted to accommodate a wide range of swimming abilities. -
Middle School Volleyball Entering Grades 6-8
1552-FA26A: Girls Entering Grades 6 1552-FA26B: Girls Entering Grade 7 & 8 1552-FA26C: Boys Entering Grades 6 1552-FA26D: Boys Entering Grades 7 & 8 Middle School Volleyball is a fun and recreational league. Volleyball basics include six key skills: serving, passing, setting, hitting (or spiking), blocking and digging. The coaching staff will be diving deeper into game strategies, team positioning and both offensive and defensive play. The focus is on learning the game, building teamwork, and having a great time; while playing at least one game per week.6th Grade: Monday/Wednesday 7th & 8th Grade: Tuesday/Thursday All practices and games take place at Forest Lake Area Middle School (FLAMS). Ranger Artistic Swimming Level 1 Ages 9-11
Prerequisite: Must be able to swim 25 continuous yards of front and back crawl. Artistic swimming blends elements of swimming, gymnastics and dance into a unique and expressive sport. It emphasizes both technical skill and creativity, drawing on movements and styles from all three disciplines. Participants will explore the fundamentals of artistic swimming, including figures and routines. Figures are precise, controlled movements performed individually in the water, while routines are choreographed performances set to music. Participants will have opportunities to practice solo, duet and team routines while developing strength, coordination and artistic expression. Required equipment includes a one-piece swimsuit, goggles, a swim cap and a nose clip. -

Ranger Space Camp Informational Meeting - Parent & Child Grades 4-8
Is your child ready to suit up for the FLAS mission to take Rangers to Space Camp? Parents and children (Grades 4-8 in fall 2026) are invited to learn what it will take for kids to spend a week at Space Camp in Huntsville, Alabama in the spring of 2027! This informational meeting will cover the application process, fees, fundraising and expectations for children and parents as we prepare for Space Camp. During the 2026-2027 school year, students who are selected to join the mission will work as a team and confront mission scenarios that require dynamic problem solving and critical thinking — 21st century learning skills required in the workplace. Throughout the week at Space Camp, students are immersed in astronaut training techniques using equipment adapted from NASA’s astronaut program. Our motto is: We all go or no one goes. Sewing Machine Quick-Start Age 16-Adult
If you've never used a sewing machine before or if it’s been years, this is a great class to take first! You’ll learn how to thread a sewing machine and sew a straight line as well as techniques for machine handling that are frustrating to figure out on your own. Get comfortable with the sewing machine and practice your skills. You are welcome to and may find it helpful to bring your own sewing machine if it is in working order. -
